V-Guard Industries Ltd., the parent company of Vintes, has been into manufacturing from 1997, producing a wide range of home appliances. In course of time the company diversified into the manufacture of ready made garments, and then into the setting up and running of amusement parks. The company set up an in-house EDP department to streamline its operations. The EDP Department created various systems to manage manufacturing processes, financial accounting, payroll, human resources, customer relationship, sales, inventory and logistics. Over the years these systems were fine-tuned and refined.
